All carved birds are available year round for viewing and sale in the Studio at our Daylily Farm, as are many songbirds and whatever I am carving at the current time. From May through September very little carving is done, as most of my time is spent on daylily farming.

Birds are hand carved from Northern Pine, Cedar or Sugar Pine using knives and small power tools. The feathering is done with electric burning tools. The birds are hand-painted using acrylic paints and sealed with artists' varnish.
